About Us
Who we are and why we exist.
R123NEWS gives patients a voice by reporting healthcare stories, publishing education, and enabling community action. We exist because too many people have been denied diagnosis, dismissed as psychiatric, or ignored by the very systems sworn to protect them.
R123NEWS is the media arm of the R123 movement, founded by patients and families who watched those failures up close. We document what happens inside exam rooms, hospital corridors, public health departments, and federal agencies when procedure replaces protection and people are left to deteriorate.
We operate from a simple constitutional truth: governmental power was never meant to serve systems and entities first. The American people are supposed to stand at the top of the pyramid as the primary beneficiaries of that power, with the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness taking precedence over institutional convenience and profit.
We exist for three reasons: to expose procedural barriers and institutional gaslighting, to preserve the written record through full publication of letters, filings, and agency responses, and to amplify the voices of patients, families, and ethical professionals who refuse to stay silent. Every story we report, every document we post, and every episode we record is part of a transparent public archive that courts, Congress, journalists, and citizens can use to demand change.
R123NEWS is not entertainment. It is a whistleblowing outlet and a living record of how healthcare, public health, and environmental protection are functioning—or failing—in real time. We are here so no one can say, “We didn’t know.”
Our Vision
Our vision is to strengthen the foundation of healthcare and public protection for our children and future generations—a foundation that restores “health” and “care” as its true and only purposes. We believe in a system that prioritizes people over profits, compassion over corruption, and healing over hierarchy.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple but powerful: to restore patient care and human well-being to their rightful place at the top of medicine’s and government’s priorities. We pursue this by documenting real cases, exposing procedural barriers, and publishing the full written record so that patterns of neglect and misuse of power can no longer hide behind closed doors.
Our Three Rules
- Rule 1: Do no further harm.
- Rule 2: Treat people, not tools.
- Rule 3: Collaborate so that patients gain every possible benefit from the combined superpowers of knowledge, science, and compassion.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to restore integrity in care and reform systems so that decisions consistently err on the side of life. R123NEWS exists to make it impossible for institutions to say “we didn’t know” when the evidence—and the human cost—has been placed plainly in front of them, and to re
